Twice a day, after the morning alarm and when the children of Hoa Sim Kindergarten of the unit are about to be picked up by their families, the internal public address system plays the song “Union Song”, followed by propaganda about emulation activities, history and tradition of the Vietnam Trade Union, and the National Defense Trade Union. The sound is transmitted to production teams, gardens near the unit, and kindergarten classrooms, etc.
Propaganda work is associated with organizing patriotic emulation movements among cadres, employees, and laborers, practically achieving achievements to welcome trade union congresses at all levels, towards the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union; promoting "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and lifestyle" and the Campaign "Promoting tradition, dedicating talent, worthy of being Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the new period.
Propaganda activities focus on learning, improving theoretical, political , professional, technical and vocational skills, as well as the achievements and significance of implementing the program to improve workers' qualifications and vocational skills to meet production labor requirements in the new situation.

The union's propaganda activities at the unit have really reached every alley, knocked on every union member's door, making every union member see the pride and honor of the soldier on the economic and defense front.
Collective competition, individual competition
From the beginning of 2023, the trade union organization has developed an action program and launched emulation campaigns. The emulation campaign focuses on the movements of "Good workers, creative workers"; "productivity, quality, efficiency, thrift practice, ensuring safety in labor, production and work"; "bright - green - clean - beautiful"; "5 best - 3 no"; "traffic safety, no violation of discipline ".
The emulation targets have been responded to and concretized by the departmental unions, union groups and union members in conjunction with the unit's emulation movement to win, creating a combined strength to successfully carry out the unit's political tasks. In the emulation movement, many technical innovation initiatives and good practices have emerged, bringing high economic efficiency. In the first 6 months of 2023, the Farm had 3 union members honored to be in the Party ranks and 5 union members were proposed by the unit to superiors for consideration and decision on admission.
Major Vu Van Tien, Vice Chairman of the Farm's Trade Union, shared: "The unit launched an emulation movement to welcome the trade union congresses at all levels, which was enthusiastically registered by the departmental trade unions, trade union groups and union members. In each garden, in each apartment, in the corner of the kindergarten, in the military and civilian medical clinic, everyone enthusiastically competed, determined to successfully complete the peak emulation period: "Remembering Uncle Ho's words, emulating to successfully complete the tasks of the first 6 months of 2023" to practically achieve achievements to welcome the trade union congresses at all levels".
At the unit's kindergarten, the emulation movement was actively responded to by teachers with specific actions such as utilizing bottles and cardboard to create teaching aids, contributing to saving costs and protecting the environment, helping children " every day at school is a happy day ", giving workers peace of mind when their children go to class and school.
Contribute to beautifying the image of "Uncle Ho's soldiers"
Since the beginning of 2023, the Farm's union officials and members have, together with the unit, given thousands of gifts to disadvantaged workers and ethnic minorities in the project area on the occasion of Tet, encouraged and rewarded students with excellent achievements and poor students who have overcome difficulties with a total amount of more than 700 million VND; repaired 20 km of traffic sidewalks, planted trees in the unit's campus and sports training area.

Union officials and members examined more than 1,800 people in the project area; provided free medicine to nearly 600 people; provided legal advice, knowledge of planting and caring for industrial crops suitable to the climate and soil for more than 5,000 people... Organized a nursery to build 40,000 seedlings to help ethnic minorities in the project area plant new trees and replant to replace old coffee gardens.
In addition, the trade union coordinated with the youth union and women's association of the unit to directly take care of and raise 4 Mong children who lost their parents in a thoughtful and dedicated manner and took many practical actions to help 30 other orphans who are living with relatives in the area.
Union officials visit and give gifts to relatives of martyrs
Mr. Dieu Guu, village elder of Busre I hamlet, Dak Ru commune (Dak R'lap), who witnesses with the people in the hamlet every day the work of cadres and union members of Farm 720 to help the people develop the economy and build new rural areas, affirmed: "For many years, the soldiers of Farm 720 have helped the people in my hamlet and other hamlets and villages in the area have stable jobs; taught them how to live hygienically; no one in the hamlet is superstitious, wholeheartedly listening to the soldiers following the Party to settle down and get rich legitimately".
In each garden, on each road, the atmosphere of competition among the collectives and union members of Farm 720 is enthusiastic and determined to turn the barren, rocky land into high-yield gardens, contributing to the unit to beautify the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers on the economic front, performing well the function of "production labor army" together with the entire army to carry out well the task of building and defending the Fatherland in the new situation.
