At around 4:30 a.m. on August 27, at Km1890 + 700 of Ho Chi Minh Road (old National Highway 14) through Hamlet 2, Truong Xuan Commune (Dak Song, Dak Nong), a traffic accident occurred between a passenger car and two trucks, killing Mr. LTT (58 years old, residing in Buon Ho town, Dak Lak province) and seriously injuring Mr. TV M (23 years old, residing in Tan Binh district, Ho Chi Minh City). Both victims were passengers on bus 50H-508.73. Authorities determined the initial cause of the accident was due to the passenger car overtaking in violation of regulations. On August 26, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy of South Korea said that the country's export growth rate reached the highest level among the world's top 10 exporting countries. According to the ministry, as of July 2024, South Korea's exports have increased for 10 consecutive months, with a trade surplus for 14 consecutive months, of which the cumulative surplus in the first 7 months of 2024 reached 26.8 billion USD.
