Due to the impact of natural disasters, both sides of the riverbank and the M0 pier of Tu My bridge on National Highway 32C in Tu My commune, Tam Nong district have been seriously eroded, causing potential risks to construction safety and traffic safety.
The Ministry of Transport has approved the project to overcome the consequences of natural disasters and repair and ensure traffic safety at step 2 of Tu My bridge at Km26+500, National Highway 32C, the investor is the Phu Tho Department of Transport, with a total investment of 27 billion VND.
Construction unit carries out repairs and upgrades of Tu My bridge project items.
Phu Tho Department of Transport has carried out related work; directed the construction unit to repair damaged bridge items, reinforce the upstream and downstream river banks and M0 abutments with reinforced concrete sheet piles, and add bored piles to expand M0 and M1 abutments and expand 3 more bridge piers. For the roads at both ends of the bridge, the construction unit will spread 2 layers of crushed stone aggregate and resurface the road surface to improve operational efficiency...
The project is expected to be completed and put into use by the end of 2024.
