Great influence of the contest to learn about the Law on Drug Prevention and Control

After more than a month of implementation, the contest to learn about the Law on Drug Prevention and Control attracted over 1 million online entries and more than 200 quality written entries.

According to information from the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department ( Ministry of Public Security ) on the afternoon of September 12, since the launch of the contest (July 20) to date, there have been over 1 million entries, with 570,000 online participants and over 200 essay writing exams. In particular, many individuals have participated in hundreds, thousands of entries.

These numbers show that the contest has created a great influence, attracting officers and soldiers in the police force and the whole society to actively participate.

A representative of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) said that although the contest has only been halfway through, the Organizing Committee has received many impressive entries in terms of both form and content. Some entries were presented in 4 volumes, each with hundreds of handwritten pages, presented manually… demonstrating the thoroughness, neatness and seriousness of the contestants.

In addition to individual entries, there are also collective entries from a large number of units, not only answering the questions fully and correctly, but also collecting and illustrating many related contents.

In addition, the Contest also received the participation of many Vietnamese people and international students living, studying and working abroad.

The National Competition on Understanding the Law on Drug Prevention and Control organized by the Ministry of Public Security is a practical activity contributing to the implementation of the Law on Drug Prevention and Control and its guiding documents in a unified, synchronous, extensive and effective manner nationwide.

The total prize value of the contest is more than 1 billion VND; in which, the Organizing Committee will award more than 100 prizes to individuals with high achievements, quality articles in 2 forms of essay and online; at the same time, award 45 collective prizes to units and localities that actively responded and participated, with many individuals winning high prizes.
