Ms. Nong Thi Kim Cuc: In the past time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the province have focused on disseminating the Party's directives and resolutions, the State's policies and laws, and the Provincial Party Committee's action programs on leading socio -economic development. In particular, we always focus on improving and enhancing the quality of the form and content of propaganda; creating effects and spreading power in propagating and mobilizing people to implement the Party's policies and the State's policies and laws.

In particular, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province has focused on timely propagating the Party and State's policies and guidelines on ethnicity and religion, coordinating to create conditions and encourage people of all ethnic groups and religions to practice their beliefs and religions in accordance with the law. Proactively proposing to the Party Committee and the government to pay attention to and promptly consider and resolve the legitimate aspirations of ethnic minorities and followers of all religions; promptly praising and rewarding groups and individuals who have made many contributions to building and implementing patriotic emulation movements.

Organized 47 meetings, visits, presented 1,133 gifts of encouragement and congratulations to religious establishments on important occasions. Coordinated with Buddhist Executive Committees at all levels to continue implementing the movement "Building progressive landscape pagodas - cultural landscape pagodas in the period of 2017-2022" . Mobilized religious followers to effectively implement the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas", living a good life and good religion".

Ethnic work has been focused on. The Fatherland Front at all levels has advised Party committees to issue documents and plans, organize 66 meetings and visits, and present 1,706 gifts to prestigious people among ethnic minorities, promoting the role of prestigious people in propagating and mobilizing people to properly implement the Party's guidelines and policies.

Every year, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee coordinates to organize many inspections, grasp the situation, and care for the lives of ethnic minorities. Coordinates with Mu Cang Chai, Van Chan, and Tram Tau districts to organize 4 conferences to meet village elders, clan leaders, and prestigious people in the community to promote the role of village elders, clan leaders, and prestigious people in propaganda and mobilization work.

PV : What results have been achieved by the efforts of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in propaganda, mobilization, and gathering people from all walks of life to promote the strength of national unity, especially in building new rural areas? Madam!

Ms. Nong Thi Kim Cuc: Implementing the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", the programs and projects on building new rural areas of the province. The Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations have strengthened propaganda and mobilized union members, association members and the masses to actively participate in responding to and supporting the policy of building new rural areas. Timely commending and rewarding collectives and individuals with many achievements in implementing the program, especially households who voluntarily contribute working days, fence moving, donating land, trees, crops, works, and assets on land to build public welfare works, especially traffic infrastructure.

Since the beginning of the term, nearly 13,500 households have voluntarily donated land, crops, materials, and constructions on land to serve the construction of new rural areas with a total donated land area of over 1.8 million square meters, equivalent to over 623 billion VND; participated in hundreds of thousands of working days for the construction of infrastructure, rural traffic, and welfare works; many localities have voluntarily cleared the land to wait for the state to invest in construction of works instead of waiting for compensation support to clear the land as before. Thereby, contributing to making Yen Bai a bright spot in the construction of new rural areas in the Northern Midlands and Mountains region.

People actively participate in responding to and supporting the policy of building new rural areas.

Reporter: Madam, it is known that the work of social security and COVID-19 prevention and control in recent times has achieved important results and the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front is very important. Can you elaborate on your role in this activity?

Ms. Nong Thi Kim Cuc: Implementing the direction of Party committees at all levels, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations have actively promoted, mobilized and mobilized social resources from collectives, individuals and philanthropists to help the poor and people in difficult circumstances to improve their lives. In the period of 2021 - 2023, the "For the Poor" fund at all levels in the province received over 40.2 billion VND; hundreds of thousands of gifts to support the poor; hundreds of large and small projects and tasks to serve the lives of people and students in mountainous areas, orphans...

In addition, from other funds, it has promptly allocated to build over 2,000 new houses, repair hundreds of houses for poor households and households in especially difficult circumstances with a total value of tens of billions of VND. Along with that, it has mobilized people to contribute hundreds of thousands of working days to help poor households build houses; promptly distributed the support gifts to beneficiaries.

The initial phase of implementing the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels was also a period when the COVID-19 pandemic was very complicated. The Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations have played an important role in propagating and mobilizing union members, association members and people to properly implement epidemic prevention measures according to the recommendations of the health sector; mobilizing union members and association members to actively participate in and support the work of epidemic prevention and control with the motto of being proactive, practical, effective and safest.

Through this, many good and creative ways have been discovered among union members, association members and people from urban to rural areas; the Vietnam Fatherland Front has called for support, received and allocated funds for epidemic prevention and control with a total amount of over 17 billion VND and many other valuable essential goods and necessities.

PV: So in the coming time, what should the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Yen Bai province do to continue promoting the strength of national solidarity in the overall development of the province? Madam!

Ms. Nong Thi Kim Cuc: To continue promoting the results achieved in the last half of the term, contributing to the successful implementation of the targets and tasks set forth by the Resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020 - 2025 term and the Resolution of the 19th Yen Bai Provincial Party Congress.

In the coming time, it is necessary to strongly promote the role of the Fatherland Front and its member organizations, strengthen and expand the great national unity bloc; strongly direct activities to the grassroots level, effectively implement campaigns and emulation movements initiated by the Fatherland Front.
