Sumitomo and SBI Holdings invest in FPT's subsidiary in Japan

DNVN - FPT Technology Group announced a strategic partnership with Sumitomo Corporation and SBI Holdings (Japan) to accelerate the application of artificial intelligence (AI) through the product and service ecosystem of FPT AI Factory, contributing to the development of sovereign AI in Japan.

Under the cooperation agreement, Sumitomo Corporation and SBI Holdings Corporation will invest 20% and 20%, respectively, inFPT Smart Cloud Japan (a subsidiary of FPT Corporation). This cooperation lays an important foundation in promoting the development and application of breakthrough AI solutions in all aspects of social life for organizations and businesses in Japan, realizing the goal of contributing to making Japan an AI nation.
