National Digital Transformation Agency has new Director

DNVN - On August 28, 2025, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) held a ceremony to announce and award decisions on personnel work at the National Digital Transformation Agency and the Department of Technology Assessment and Appraisal.

During the ceremony, the Ministry of Science and Technology announced the decisions of the Minister of Science and Technology . Deputy Minister Pham Duc Long, who is also Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, presented the following decisions:

Decision No. 2302/QD-BKHCN dated August 28, 2025, on Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phuc, Director of the National Digital Transformation Agency, retiring before the policy age according to Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP, effective from August 31, 2025.

Decision No. 2415/QD-BKHCN dated August 28, 2025, assigns Mr. Nguyen Phu Tien, Deputy Director, to hold the position of Acting Director of the National Digital Transformation Department until further decision.

Decision No. 1955/QD-BKHCN dated July 30, 2025, re-appointing Mr. Dang Dinh Tung to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Technology Assessment and Appraisal, Ministry of Science and Technology, from August 1, 2025.

At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phuc expressed his emotions and thanked the Party Committee and the Ministry's leaders for always caring and creating conditions for him to successfully complete all tasks and contribute to the development of science , technology, innovation and digital transformation.

The newly appointed officials expressed their honor at being entrusted with the task by the Party Committee and the leaders of the Ministry of Science and Technology. They affirmed that this is a great responsibility, requiring efforts, dedication and solidarity to complete the work well, especially in the context of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation playing an important role in the country's sustainable development.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Pham Duc Long highly appreciated the contributions of the staff in the work. The Deputy Minister hopes that each staff of the Ministry will always consider the Ministry of Science and Technology as a "common home", continue to promote the spirit of solidarity and responsibility to fulfill their tasks well, contributing to the strong and sustainable development of the industry.
