Sun Group joins hands with 2 "giants" in the field of service industry training

On August 25, 2025, Sun Group Corporation officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement with two prestigious international partners from Canada and Switzerland to build and develop the Sun Aviation Academy and Sun Tourism Academy.

This is also a completely new field that the Group established, after deciding to do business in the Aviation sector and merging two entertainment brands (Sun World) and resorts (Sun Hospitality Group) under the name Sun Hospitality & Entertainment Group.

Sun Group "joins hands" with two leading international partners in the fields of aviation training and hotel management, CAE and EHL.

Accordingly, two famous partners were selected for cooperation: Canadian Aviation Electronics Ltd (CAE) - the world's leading group in aviation training and EHL Hospitality Business School (EHL) - the world's leading educational group specializing in hotel management and services.

This strategic “handshake” marks an important milestone in the journey of developing Sun Group’s ecosystem, affirming its strong commitment to long-term investment in training and developing high-quality human resources to meet the increasing demands of Vietnam’s tourism service industry, especially in the aviation and hotel sectors.

With the cooperation of two “giants” CAE and EHL, Sun Group will develop two academies including Sun Aviation Academy (SAA) and Sun Tourism Academy (STA) – working together to build training programs according to international standards, closely linking theory, practice and practical experience.

Sun Aviation Academy will train high-quality human resources not only for Sun PhuQuoc Airways, but also for the entire industry, becoming the leading aviation training center in the region.

According to the content of the memorandum of understanding between the parties, CAE, a global icon from Canada in aviation training with more than 75 years of experience and a network of centers around the world, will directly support the Sun Aviation Academy in developing the ATO (Approved Training Organization) program in coordination with the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam in training pilots, flight attendants and ground staff. The Academy is expected to become a pioneer in aviation training in Vietnam in the fields of training equipment, flight simulation technology and aviation training solutions... The goal is not only to meet the human resource training needs of Sun PhuQuoc Airways, but also to make the Sun Aviation Academy a leading aviation training center in the region, ready to provide high-quality human resources for this field.

Meanwhile, EHL, the world’s number one educational group in hotel and service management training from Switzerland, will accompany the Sun Tourism Academy to develop a generation of world-class human resources in the field of entertainment and resort, contributing to comprehensively improving the quality of Vietnam’s tourism service industry. EHL, with a history of more than 130 years, is the cradle that has produced generations of leading leaders and experts in the service and hotel industry, known as the “Harvard of the global hotel service industry”.

Sun Group currently owns a system of 15 5-star hotels and resorts across the country.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Dang Minh Truong - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sun Group - affirmed that the cooperation of CAE and EHL is the factor that ensures that Sun Aviation Academy and Sun Tourism Academy become international standard, unique and classy training centers. “In nearly 20 years of development, Sun Group has created iconic destinations across Vietnam. But behind every milestone, the real difference lies in the people. Service is not just about meeting needs; it is also about creating memorable experiences for visitors. That is why we developed the Sun Aviation Academy and Sun Tourism Academy - to train young Vietnamese talents with global knowledge, modern technology and the right service mindset.
