Mr. LVQ (40 years old, residing in Phu Yen district, Son La province) came to Thanh Thuy District Medical Center (Phu Tho province) for examination with pain in the lower abdomen for many days. Before that, he had also gone for examination and treatment but it did not improve, so his family took him to Thanh Thuy District Medical Center for examination.

Receiving his case, the doctors of the General Surgery Department - LCK examined him and prescribed the necessary paraclinical tests. The test results showed that there were many stones in his bladder, the largest one measuring 32 x 37mm.

After receiving the test results, the doctors performed surgery to remove bladder stones for Mr. LVQ. After nearly 1 hour in the operating room, the doctors removed 4 stones like egg stones from the patient's bladder.

After 8 days of treatment, Mr. Q's health stabilized and he was discharged from the hospital.

Recognize the symptoms of bladder stones and how to treat them

Bladder stones are formed by the accumulation of minerals. Bladder stones are common in men and are related to the stagnation of urine due to obstruction in the bladder neck or urethra.
