Suzuki Jimny and XL7 are being discounted by up to 80 million VND

Entering June, Suzuki Vietnam continues to promote the sales increase campaign for the two Suzuki XL7 and Jimny models to accelerate the inventory clearance process. Customers who buy the Suzuki XL7 Hybrid 2025 will receive 50% support for registration fees. Particularly, vehicles with VIN 2024 will receive 100% support for registration fees.

Suzuki Vietnam is coordinating with authorized dealers to launch incentives for XL7 and Jimny models with a conversion value of 30 to 80 million VND.

With the listed price of Suzuki XL7 Hybrid ranging from 599.9 - 607.9 million VND, customers save about 30 million - 60 million VND when completing the registration procedures. The Suzuki Jimny model is also sold with a policy of 100% support for registration fees, equivalent to a reduction of 80 million VND for customers. This incentive only applies to vehicles manufactured in 2024 and is valid from June 1 to June 30, 2025.

Thanks to the above incentives, the Suzuki XL7 Hybrid has become the most attractively priced model in the MPV segment. At the same time, Toyota is applying a 100% registration fee support for the Veloz Cross and Avanza Premio models, with the equivalent amount of 56 - 64 million VND. Honda supports 50% of the registration fee for the BR-V model, equivalent to 31-35 million VND.

XL7 and Jimny are both Suzuki's flagship models in the Vietnamese market. However, neither has seen a breakthrough in sales, even though the company has focused on stimulating demand after Ertiga was "discontinued".

In the first 4 months of the year, Suzuki XL7 sales reached 769 vehicles, less than its "compatriots" Mitsubishi Xpander (5,363 vehicles), Toyota Innova Cross (2,104 vehicles), Toyota Veloz Cross (1,768 vehicles), Kia Carnival (1,710 vehicles),.... Meanwhile, the Suzuki Jimny model only achieved sales of 94 vehicles.

Suzuki XL7 is the most attractive car model in the segment but is not favored by customers due to its limited design and equipment. On the contrary, Suzuki Jimny is not popular due to its high price. Suzuki Jimny starts at 789 million VND, not "commensurate" with a small car model with basic amenities and safety.

Many sources show that Suzuki Vietnam is preparing to launch two new models, Swift and Fronx. Currently, the Japanese car company has hinted at the launch of the new generation Suzuki Swift on its fanpage. As for Suzuki Fronx, the company confirmed that it will launch it on the market at the end of this year.
