Introduction: For the first time in the history of participating in the SEA Games, the Vietnamese Sports Delegation won the overall championship at a tournament held abroad. With a total of 136 gold medals, 104 silver medals, and 114 bronze medals, this is also the first time that Vietnamese Sports has successfully defended its leading position in two consecutive SEA Games. The success at the 32nd SEA Games will give the athletes more mental strength before taking on bigger challenges in the future. The immediate future is the 19th ASIAD in Hangzhou (China) at the end of September and the competitions for a place in the 2024 Olympics next summer.
