Although he has only been practicing Taekwondo for less than a year and this is his first time participating in a provincial competition, athlete Tran Manh Hai, from the Taekwondo Club of Bao Ha commune, has excelled over a series of opponents and won the Gold Medal in the junior high school age group competition. Athlete Tran Manh Hai confided: I have liked Taekwondo since I was a child, but it was not until mid-2023 that I had the opportunity to study. Now, in addition to my school time, I spend 1-2 hours practicing Taekwondo every day. During the training and competition of this martial art from the "land of kimchi", I also suffered injuries and received painful blows from my opponents, but I tried to overcome them.
