Serious accident at An Suong intersection

(NLDO) - A tractor-trailer and a motorbike were traveling in the same direction and collided. The accident left one person dead.

On February 17, District 12 Police (HCMC) are investigating a serious traffic accident on the An Suong crossroads overpass.

At more than 10 o'clock the same day, the male driver drove a tractor-trailer with a license plate from Lam Dong province on Do Muoi Street (formerly National Highway 1), in the direction from Thu Duc City to Binh Chanh District.

While going up the An Suong crossroads overpass in Trung My Tay ward, he collided with a motorbike with a Bac Lieu province license plate driven by a man in the same direction.

After the collision, the man fell to the road and died on the spot. The scene showed the victim's body trapped under the tractor trailer .

District 12 police and traffic police then arrived at the scene to block off and investigate the cause.
