Opening the session on June 25, VN-Index tried to regain green, bringing the VN-Index close to 1,260 points. However, by the end of the morning session and throughout the afternoon session, the market suddenly returned to a cautious and volatile state.

At the end of the session, VN-Index increased by 2 points to 1,256 points; HNX-Index increased by 0.4 points to 240 points. When the market recovered, the assets of some billionaires on the Vietnamese stock market fluctuated somewhat after yesterday's nearly 30-point plunge.

Billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong, Chairman of Vingroup Corporation (stock code: VIC), who owns more than 691 million VIC shares, saw his assets increase slightly by 0.1%, equivalent to VND68 billion, when the stock reached VND41,200/share.

It is estimated that at the closing price on June 25, the value of the VIC shares that billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong is holding is VND28,469 billion. Previously, on June 24, Mr. Vuong's assets "evaporated" nearly VND380 billion because this stock decreased by 1.3%.

Similarly, the total assets of billionaire Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of VietJet Aviation Joint Stock Company (stock code: VJC) also decreased by more than VND120 billion yesterday because VJC and HDB shares of HDBank both decreased.

By today's session, the billionaire's assets had recovered slightly thanks to HDB shares increasing by 1.12%, to VND22,600/share, equivalent to an increase of VND27 billion. VJC shares were flat, at VND101,600/share. Currently, with more than 47 million VJC shares and 108 million HDB shares owned by Ms. Thao, the estimated value of the above shares is about VND7,215 billion.

Going against the market's upward trend, FPT shares of FPT Corporation, a company chaired by Mr. Truong Gia Binh, a shareholder owning 88 million FPT shares, fell another 1.59% today, to VND130,000/share.

Thus, the value of FPT Chairman's assets "evaporated" another 184 billion VND. In yesterday's "fiery" session, Mr. Binh's assets also decreased by nearly 260 billion VND. It is estimated that in just 2 sessions, Mr. Binh lost nearly 450 billion VND. Temporarily calculated according to today's closing market price, the value of FPT shares Mr. Truong Gia Binh is holding is about 11,440 billion VND.

Billionaire Tran Dinh Long, Chairman of Hoa Phat Group Joint Stock Company (stock code: HPG), who is known as the richest tycoon on the Vietnamese stock market when owning more than 1.6 billion HPG shares, in the session on June 25, his assets did not fluctuate because the price of this stock remained unchanged, at VND28,700/share.

Notably, in yesterday's session, when HPG shares fell 1.2%, the assets of Hoa Phat Chairman decreased by nearly 600 billion VND. With the number of shares he owns and the current market price, the value of Mr. Long's shares is estimated at nearly 46,000 billion VND.
