- On July 8, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department, Provincial Police issued a decision to temporarily detain Vy Van Bao, born in 1993, permanent residence in Po Rieng village, Ba Son commune, to investigate the act of illegal drug trafficking.

Previously, at 9:45 p.m. on July 7, 2025, the Ba Son Commune Police working group in coordination with Ba Son Border Guard Station was on patrol and control duty in Co Khuong hamlet, Ba Son commune, and discovered Vy Van Bao driving a motorbike with license plate 98E1-408.05 along Highway DH21 in the direction of Ban Vang - Po Ma, Ba Son commune, showing suspicious signs.

At the time of the inspection, Vy Van Bao confessed and took out a plastic bag containing white powder (heroin) from his left back pocket. Bao bought this package of drugs from a woman named Trang (unknown year of birth, specific address) in Ky Lua ward for 2 million VND to use and sell to other drug addicts. The working group took the subject and all the evidence and related vehicles to the Ba Son Commune Police headquarters to make a record and verify the case.

Currently, the case is being investigated by Ba Son Commune Police in coordination with the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department and the Provincial Police to handle the subjects according to the provisions of law.
