On the morning of February 14th, ceremonies for the 2025 military conscription were held in 26 districts, towns, and cities under the jurisdiction of Thanh Hoa province.
On February 14th, Thanh Hoa province held the 2025 military conscription ceremony.
According to the Thanh Hoa Provincial Military Command, this year more than 4,000 citizens aged 18-21 have enlisted and are heading to training units. Of these, 3,652 citizens have been assigned to the Army by the local authorities, and 487 citizens have been assigned to the Ministry of Public Security .
Among the citizens participating in military service, there are two female citizens; 19 citizens are married and 14 citizens have children. The conscripts are assigned to 14 military units under the Ministry of National Defense, including: the 12th Army Corps; the Air Force; the Navy; the Provincial Border Guard Command; the Capital Command; the Political Academy; the Military Medical Academy; the General Department of Engineering; the General Staff; the Army Officer School 1; the General Department of Logistics; the 324th Division; the 206th Brigade and the 762nd Regiment, Thanh Hoa Provincial Military Command.
Secretary of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Doan Anh, along with leaders of Military Region 4 and the Provincial Military Command, encouraged young people from Thanh Hoa City to enlist in the army.
Statistics show that the majority of citizens enlisting in the military are of Kinh ethnicity (accounting for 70.76%), with the remainder being of Muong, Thai, Dao, Tho, San Diu, Kho Mu, Catholic, and Protestant faiths.
The number of Party members enlisting in the military was significantly higher than in previous years (839 comrades, accounting for 22.9%), 726 young people participated in Party membership orientation courses; nearly 700 young people submitted applications to volunteer for military service. 66.8% of the young people graduated from high school, while 191 young people graduated from university, college, and vocational schools, accounting for nearly 6%; the number of young people from ethnic minorities enlisting in the military reached 29.24%.
Mr. Do Minh Tuan, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province, presented flowers to congratulate the new recruits in Quang Xuong district.
Observations show that this morning, in Thanh Hoa City, Sam Son City, Quang Xuong District, Quan Hoa District, etc., people arrived at the ceremony venues early. Many brought flowers and carried their children to bid farewell to their loved ones joining the army... tears and heartfelt handshakes created deeply moving moments during the ceremony.

This year, Thanh Hoa province has more than 4,000 citizens of eligible age to enlist in the military.
The new recruits beamed with smiles as they were admitted to their military units for training.
In 2025, 487 citizens were handed over to the Ministry of Public Security by local authorities.

Nghe An: Many students put aside their studies to enlist in the army.
Over 3,000 citizens in Nghe An province have enlisted in the army, including many Party members, university and college graduates, and many who have just been admitted to university but have put aside their studies to join the military.
On the morning of February 14th, Nghe An province simultaneously held military enlistment ceremonies in all 20 districts, cities, and towns, bidding farewell to the outstanding sons of the homeland as they embark on their duty to build and protect the Fatherland.
This year, more than 3,000 citizens from Nghe An province are enlisting in the military.

This year, Vinh City has 192 young men enlisting in the Vietnam People's Army and 27 young men joining the People's Public Security Force. 100% of the young men meet the health and political qualification requirements.
In terms of educational level, 16 young people have a university degree, 1 has a college degree, and 3 have a vocational school degree.
Mr. Dang Van Hung (54 years old, residing in Nghi Thai commune, Vinh City) proudly shared: Dang Anh Quan (18 years old), his only son, just passed the entrance exam to the Academy of Finance with 27 points, but he decided to volunteer for military service instead (Family photo of Mr. Hung).
Today, our whole family, including our five-month-old baby, are here to see our son off on his mission. Our family is proud to have a son serving in the Ho Chi Minh Army.
New recruit Dang Anh Quan (son of Mr. Hung) shared: "My paternal and maternal grandfathers were soldiers. Following in the family tradition, I volunteered to enlist."
Meanwhile, new recruit Phan Bao An (born in 2002, recently graduated from Ho Chi Minh City University of Finance and Marketing) shared: "To have the life we have today, we have always been aware that building and protecting the Fatherland is the responsibility of every citizen. In particular, enlisting in the army and police to protect the Fatherland is the responsibility and duty of us young people."
On behalf of the 219 new recruits in Vinh City, Bao An pledged to continuously study, train, improve his knowledge, skills, and character, overcome all difficulties and hardships, and strive to achieve the highest possible results during his time serving in the military.
