Thanks to encouragement and favorable conditions, the economic structure has shifted towards an increasing proportion of the trade and service sector, and the material living standards of the ward's residents have improved. Currently, the ward has 28 limited liability companies, 3 joint-stock companies, 4 cooperatives, 503 households engaged in trade and service businesses, and 847 workers participating in industrial and handicraft production. The average income of workers in the local trade and service sector is between 4-6 million VND/person/month. The total revenue from trade and services in 2023 reached 83 billion VND. In the first quarter of 2024 alone, trade and services are estimated to reach 20 billion VND. The average per capita income in the ward is 55 million VND/year; the ward still has 3 poor households and 24 near-poor households; many families earn hundreds of millions of VND per year thanks to the development of trade and services.

Mr. Hoang Anh Tuan, from Group 17, said that taking advantage of the favorable geographical location on Truong Chinh Street, connecting Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang , his family has been running a showroom selling their family's specialty products, agricultural produce, and clean food for nearly three years. Initially, business was difficult, profits were low, and customers were unfamiliar with the products. However, since 2022, with the development of trade and improved living standards, the demand for clean food has increased, leading to more successful business. The family specializes in selling clean products, attracting customers from near and far. Annual revenue exceeds 150 million VND.

According to Quan Van Tiep, Director of the Tuyen Quang Deer Breeding Cooperative and Head of the Deer Breeding Professional Association, Group 2, taking advantage of the urban development axis from Tuyen Quang city to the center of Yen Son district, his family invested in deer breeding with a herd of 50-70 deer per year. He established the Tuyen Quang Deer Breeding Cooperative to guide local people and those from other provinces and cities on breeding techniques and sell breeding stock. Each year, they earn over 1 billion VND, creating jobs for 2-4 workers with salaries of 5-6 million VND per month. In the near future, he plans to open a store to showcase deer antler products to customers near and far.
