With an admission score of 27.75 points, Nguyen Van Huy is the valedictorian of the inspection major in the 2024 university entrance exam of the branch.
Citing the Government 's regulations on social assistance policies for social protection beneficiaries, Mr. Chin said Huy is a beneficiary of social assistance and is exempted from 100% of tuition fees for the entire course.
The branch will soon carry out procedures for Huy to enjoy the above benefits according to regulations.
In addition, the branch will support 100% free accommodation at the dormitory during the entire course, and prioritize scholarships from scholarship funds of businesses and partners of the branch.
"The Youth Union and the student affairs department will support Huy in finding extra work to help him earn more income to cover his daily expenses," said Mr. Chin.

Speaking to us over the phone, Huy said he is currently in Quang Nam preparing to enter school. In the past few days, many friends, teachers, and relatives have called to encourage him.

Since birth, Nguyen Van Huy (Hoa Hiep Nam ward, Dong Hoa town, Phu Yen province) has not known who his father is. Four months ago, Huy's mother passed away at the age of 55, leaving Huy alone in an empty house.

I remembered what my mother told me, telling myself to be brave and overcome, even though I knew for sure that the challenge would be huge because I didn't have my parents to lean on and act as a shield.
During his time studying at Nguyen Van Linh High School (Hoa Hiep Trung ward, Dong Hoa town), Huy was good at social subjects, most notably history.
In grade 11, Huy won second prize in the Phu Yen provincial history competition.
Many people were worried that the shock of losing his mother in early May 2024 might cause the orphaned student to collapse before the high school graduation exam. However, with a solid foundation of knowledge, Huy suppressed the pain of loss and passed the exam with good results.
Considering the university entrance score, Huy passed the entrance exam to the National Academy of Public Administration - Quang Nam branch, majoring in inspection with a score of 27.75, including 8 points for literature, 9.75 points for history and 10 points for geography.
Huy enrolled in school with only a small amount of money donated by relatives and some benefactors. But Huy was determined to study to change his fate.
