On June 22, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs in coordination with the Vietnam Association for the Support of Disabled and Orphans and the Korean Evangelical Church in Hanoi organized a program to present bicycles and scholarships to hundreds of students in especially difficult circumstances in the province.
At the program, the Sponsoring Group awarded 100 bicycles and 30 scholarships to students who are disabled, orphans, or have especially difficult circumstances in life but have tried to excel in their studies.
The total value of the gifts, worth nearly 200 million VND, comes from the cooperation and contributions of Koreans working in Vietnam through the Korean Evangelical Church in Hanoi.
Giving gifts to students in special circumstances in Ninh Binh province is one of the meaningful and outstanding activities that the Vietnam Association for the Support of People with Disabilities and Orphans and the Korean Evangelical Church in Hanoi jointly implemented on the occasion of the Month of Action for Children 2023.
These gifts help students have more conditions to go to school and more importantly, they contribute to encouraging, cheering, and helping them to constantly strive to study well so that they can establish themselves and make a career in the future.
This activity also contributes to creating close ties and maintaining the relationship between the Korean Evangelical Church in Hanoi and the locality.
