Donated 34 artifacts to the Provincial Museum - Library

Two collectors Le Kien and Tran Lap presented 34 artifacts to the Provincial Museum - Library at the meeting to celebrate International Museum Day (May 18) held on the evening of May 16.

In which, private collector Tran Lap donated 1 liberation flag "Determination to defeat the American invaders in 1968"; Medal "Liberation feat in 1968"; Liberation flag badge; shell and 105mm bullet produced in 1968.

Private collector Le Kien donated ceramic artifacts from the Tran Dynasty; lime pots from the Tran, Le, and Mac dynasties; stone and bronze utensils...

Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Mr. Tran Cong Son, Director of the Provincial Museum and Library presented certificates of merit to the two collectors.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said that this year's International Museum Day has the theme "The future of museums in rapidly changing communities".

This theme highlights the essential role of museums in adapting and leading communities through increasingly rapid social, technological and environmental changes.
