Comrade Le Truong Luu, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council, Head of the City's National Assembly Delegation, and Head of the Steering Committee for the Prevention and Control of Corruption and Social Evils, chaired the meeting. Also present were Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Pham Duc Tien; members of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee; and members of the Steering Committee for the Prevention and Control of Corruption and Social Evils.

In the first quarter of 2025, the Steering Committee thoroughly and effectively implemented the 2025 work program; gradually brought the Steering Committee's activities into order, directed the implementation of many important tasks on preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negative phenomena at the local level, and achieved many important results.

The Standing Office of the Steering Committee has played a key advisory and implementation role, successfully completing many assigned tasks. The work of receiving citizens and resolving complaints and denunciations regarding corruption and negative practices has been strengthened and improved in effectiveness. Inspection, supervision, Party disciplinary enforcement, and inspection work have received significant attention. The overall effectiveness of state management across all areas of work has been enhanced.

Since the beginning of the year, agencies, units, and localities have conducted 15 inspections on the responsibility for implementing laws on preventing and combating corruption and bribery, of which 12 have issued inspection conclusions; they have carried out checks and verifications of assets and income for 10 out of 13 comrades under the management of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee; and received 423 asset and income declarations in accordance with regulations. Twelve training sessions on legal documents regarding the prevention and combating of corruption and bribery have been organized for 893 officials, civil servants, employees, and citizens.

Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department Dang Ngoc Tran reported on the activities of the Steering Committee.

After listening to and discussing the contributions, Party Secretary Le Truong Luu requested that Party committees at all levels review, amend, supplement, and perfect the regulations, work procedures, and working principles of newly established Party committees, Party organizations, agencies, and units after the restructuring and streamlining process, ensuring timely leadership and guidance; continue to implement the tasks set out in the 2025 work program of the Steering Committee; and continue to implement the coordination, supervision, and inspection mechanism effectively. He also directed the effective implementation of anti-corruption and anti-corruption measures in agencies, organizations, and units.
