In light of existing shortcomings and inadequacies, voters in Da Nang City have requested increased review, supervision, and decisive action to address long-standing issues related to nationally important projects, key projects, and projects with low efficiency that cause significant losses and waste.
At a meeting with voters in Hoa Vang district following the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly , voter Nguyen Van Truong from Hoa Son commune (Hoa Vang district) expressed the people of Hoa Vang's agreement and support for the investment in the North-South expressway.
In particular, the section passing through Hoa Vang has seen the local people hand over the land for construction to begin. Voters request that the National Assembly delegation strengthen supervision and direct the construction unit to accelerate the construction progress to avoid affecting people's traffic.

Regarding voters' concerns about the progress of the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan expressway project, Da Nang City Party Secretary Nguyen Van Quang affirmed that this project has been inspected and supervised by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh , who has requested its completion before August 30, 2025. Currently, Da Nang is resolving obstacles and difficulties for contractors regarding construction materials; and urging contractors to accelerate construction progress. In addition, Hoa Vang district has handed over the land for the entire route.
Not only at the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan expressway project, but the leaders of Da Nang City are also very concerned about the implementation of projects in the area. For example, during a site inspection of the Quang Da bridge and approach road construction project and the project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 14B on December 3, 2024, Mr. Quang requested Hoa Vang district and relevant units to actively promote and mobilize public support to effectively carry out land clearance work, serving the construction of key projects.
After inspecting and listening to reports from the units on the project implementation and land clearance work, Mr. Quang acknowledged the efforts of Hoa Vang district, along with the investor and contractor, in proactively carrying out land clearance work, basically meeting the construction progress requirements.
Mr. Quang stated that this project is of significant importance in celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Da Nang City. Therefore, it is necessary to continue to be determined and strive to complete the remaining items in order to conduct a technical opening to traffic on March 29, 2025.
| The People's Committee of Hoa Vang District is continuing to coordinate with relevant departments and agencies to focus on resolving obstacles so that land clearance can be implemented according to the set plan. |
At the same time, it is requested that the departments, agencies, and the Hoa Vang district government work with Dien Ban town (Quang Nam province) and that the Da Nang City People's Committee work with the Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee to agree on the progress of the access road to the bridge on the Quang Nam side so that the project can be completed simultaneously.
Regarding the project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 14B, Mr. Quang acknowledged that Hoa Vang district has adopted a new approach, boldly proposing solutions to overcome difficulties in land clearance for this project. The Hoa Vang District People's Committee needs to continue coordinating with relevant departments and agencies to focus on resolving obstacles so that land clearance is carried out according to the plan and ensures the legitimate rights and interests of households within the project area.
According to a report from Hoa Vang district, the Quang Da bridge and approach road project has a total of 155 land clearance files. To date, 139 files have had their land handed over; 16 files located along National Highway 14B have not yet had their land handed over because the households are requesting compensation for residential land and resettlement for the area of land within the traffic safety corridor that was originally residential land.
Regarding the project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 14B, as of now, 560 out of 1,075 land plots have been handed over, reaching 52.1%.
