Pension and social insurance benefits will increase from July 1st.
The government has just issued Decree No. 162/2026/ND-CP dated May 15, 2026, on adjusting pensions, social insurance benefits, and monthly allowances. According to the new regulations, from July 1, 2026, pension and social insurance benefit levels will be increased by 8% compared to current levels. Notably, to ensure a decent standard of living for low-income beneficiaries, the government stipulates raising pensions, social insurance benefits, and monthly allowances to 3.8 million VND/month for certain cases where benefits remain low even after the general adjustment.
