From mid-afternoon until now, heavy to very heavy rain has fallen upstream of the reservoir, causing the water inflow into the Krông Nô 3 reservoir upstream to increase significantly, reaching over 1,500 m3/s and continuing to rise in the coming period.
It is expected that at around 2 AM on November 20th, the floodwaters will reach Buôn Tua Srah reservoir and could reach 2,000 m3/s, possibly even higher.
From 5 PM on November 19th, Buôn Kuốp Hydropower Company proactively increased the spillway discharge rate to 540 m3/s, plus the turbine discharge rate, bringing the total downstream discharge to 710 m3/s (the highest discharge rate during Typhoon 13 was on November 7th at 650 m3/s).

According to monitoring data at 8 PM on November 19th, the water level of Buôn Tua Srah reservoir was approximately 487.2 m, the inflow into the reservoir was 536 m3/s, and the total outflow to the downstream area was 659.3 m3/s.
The peak flood level at the reservoir is predicted to occur at 8:00 AM on November 20, 2025. Based on the monitoring parameters and forecasts for unusual flood season scenarios as described above, the reservoir management unit is expected to maintain this discharge level or possibly increase it.
Buôn Kuốp Hydropower Company is notifying the authorities and people in the downstream area to proactively prepare for and prevent floods when they occur.
For communes located at the confluence of the Krông Nô and Krông Ana rivers, the impact of flooding from the Krông Ana branch is also continuing to increase.
The company is continuing to monitor the flood situation to adjust reservoir levels accordingly in order to mitigate and reduce the impact of this flood.
