On October 9, the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province held a conference to announce the results of the digital transformation contest and commend units with high achievements in organizing the digital transformation day of Binh Phuoc province and the digital consumption month in 2023.
With the theme of Binh Phuoc province's digital transformation day in 2023 being "creating and exploiting digital data to create new values", the conference was organized to raise awareness and responsibility of the community as well as the role of agencies, units and localities in implementing digital transformation, thereby promoting the cooperation of the entire political system from the province to the grassroots, the community of people and businesses to participate in the tasks of deploying digital government, digital economy and digital society at the local level.

In response to the digital transformation day and digital consumption month in 2023, many agencies, units and localities in Binh Phuoc have simultaneously organized many events and participated in online contests to learn about digital transformation. As of October 5, there were 662 units with nearly 18,000 people participating in the contest.

Vice Chairman of Binh Phuoc Provincial People's Committee Tran Tuyet Minh said that up to now, the whole province has been covered by 3G and 4G mobile network in 100% of villages and hamlets to ensure quick data exploitation. The document management and operational management system has been connected, interconnected at 3 levels and connected to the central government. The source information system, typically the "digital brain" IOC, the public administrative service center at all levels... has been maintained in good operation, which is an important foundation for gradually forming a leadership and management style based on digital data.

The Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province requested localities and enterprises in the province to continue promoting digital transformation; instructing people, production and business households to put products and goods on e-commerce platforms; creating and supporting the use of applications (online public services, electronic identification, electronic health records, cashless payments...) to create a favorable, safe and secure digital transformation environment for organizations and individuals.
Leaders of the Department of Information and Communications of Binh Phuoc province awarded prizes to outstanding individuals in the online contest to learn about digital transformation.
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee awarded 22 individuals and 1 collective with outstanding achievements in the online contest to learn about digital transformation in Binh Phuoc province in 2023; at the same time, commended 2 units with high achievements in organizing the digital transformation day of Binh Phuoc province and the digital consumption month in 2023.
