Ms. Tran Thi Kim Tuyet, Deputy Principal of Thai Binh Duong Primary, Secondary, and High School, said: "With the theme 'Strong Roots - Reaching Further,' the goal of this year's event is to create a practical environment for students to experience and demonstrate leadership roles, thereby developing their self-reliance, sense of responsibility, and leadership skills."
One of the highlights of the event was the presentation of the "Vietnamese Soul Project." This is a learning project that the school has been implementing for many years for students from grade 8 and above. Students are not only guided to research beforehand but also participate in organized trips across Vietnam. At each stop, they have the opportunity to learn about intangible cultural heritage, learn folk songs, interact and perform with artisans, and visit historical sites and scenic spots. Based on their research and experiences, students from each grade level will select distinctive cultural values from different regions to present at the Student Leadership Day through various forms: dance, singing, drama, etc.
During the 2025-2026 school year, students had the opportunity to visit and learn about several provinces in Northern, Central, Southern Vietnam and the Central Highlands. At this year's Student Leadership Day, representatives from each grade level selected and recreated distinctive regional cultural values such as: Cheo singing, Bai Choi performance, Don Ca Tai Tu (traditional Southern Vietnamese folk music), and gong music.
Besides presenting their learning projects and participating in the event, students and parents also had the opportunity to experience various booths showcasing students' learning products, experiential learning booths, reading spaces, and spaces dedicated to the school's formation and development. This fostered students' creativity, spread experiential learning methods, strengthened the bond between the school, families, and students, and contributed to improved educational effectiveness.
