It is known that the organization of this vibrant and lively kite-flying festival in the fragrant, dry rice fields of their hometown is a volunteer group called the Dien Khanh Community. This group brings together young people from the former Dien Khanh district who specialize in community programs, especially for children, such as kite-flying festivals, Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations, and other charitable activities. Tran Huu Phuc, a key member of the group, said that although the community members are not numerous, they are very enthusiastic and dedicated to charity, especially for children. The community has created a Fanpage, attracting a large audience to promote their events. Importantly, the group enjoys a high level of credibility and receives support from benefactors both locally and elsewhere. Therefore, the group has successfully organized kite-flying festivals and Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations.

Returning to this charming summer playground in the Dien Dien fields, Mr. Tien, a support member of the Dien Khanh Community, recounts how the group plans their activities according to the spring and summer seasons, waiting for farmers to finish harvesting their rice so they can use the fields as a playground. They buy bales of dry straw to make props for creating shapes, and invite professional kite flyers from all over the country, including Ho Chi Minh City, Hue, Buon Ma Thuot, and Phan Thiet, to participate. Most participants volunteer, so the expenses are mainly used for organizing the event or providing gifts for the children.
And that truly was a summer playground, steeped in the charm of the countryside. In the fields, only stubble remained, and hundreds of kites of all sizes soared in the sky. Below, children frolicked, flying kites, admiring the scenery, and climbing on the round haystacks. There were also many traditional games like blindfolded duck catching, blindfolded can smashing, and obstacle courses... The joyful laughter of childhood echoed across the fields, carried far by the wind. The children's playground was simple yet magical. This was the result of the wholehearted love and care of the Dien Khanh Community Group.
