(NADS) - Responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to support the program "Tet for the poor" Spring Giap Thin 2024, the Representative Office of Photography and Life Magazine in the North Central region coordinated with Hung Hieu Joint Stock Company (193 Ngo Duc Ke, Vinh Tan Ward, Vinh City) and Nghe An Agricultural and Aquatic Products Company (Block 7A, Thanh Chuong Town) to give 100 Tet gifts to poor households and disadvantaged families in Thanh Chuong Town (Thanh Chuong District, Nghe An Province).
This is a gift mobilized by contributions from officers, employees of companies and officers, reporters of Photography and Life Magazine.
In 2023, despite many difficulties and challenges, thanks to the drastic participation of the entire political system under the close and timely leadership and direction of the Party Committee, the Government, the Fatherland Front and the proactive, active, accompaniment and close coordination of the sectors; the drastic direction of the Town People's Committee together with the high consensus of the people and the town's business community, many important achievements have been achieved, contributing to the successful implementation of the socio-economic development plan, ensuring national defense and security, and an increasingly strong political system. However, in the town, there are still poor households, near-poor households, lonely elderly people, and people with disabilities who are in special need of help.
The program "Humane Tet - Loving Spring" Giap Thin 2024 has mobilized a lot of support and sharing from many agencies, units, businesses, and philanthropists to participate. On behalf of the gift-giving units, Mr. Tran Quoc Hoan - Director of Nghe An Agricultural and Fishery Industry and Journalist - NSNA Tran Duy Ngoan - Head of the Representative Office of Photography and Life Magazine in the North Central region, together with leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of the town, presented 100 gifts worth 500,000 VND each to poor households, near-poor households, and households in difficult circumstances in Thanh Chuong Town. It is known that previously, units such as: People's Army Newspaper, Business and Marketing Magazine, Nguyen Canh Chan High School and many other units had presented 240 gifts with a total value of more than 150 million VND.
On behalf of the local leaders, Mr. Tran Van Hung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee - Chairman of the People's Council, expressed his sincere thanks for the attention and sharing of Photography & Life Magazine, Hung Hieu Company Limited, Nghe An Agricultural and Aquatic Products Company for their noble gesture of directly giving gifts and New Year wishes to families in difficult circumstances in the town. These gifts will contribute to encouraging people to have a happy New Year 2024. At the same time, he hopes that in the coming time, he will continue to receive more attention and sharing from agencies, units, businesses... on social security programs to support the poor and those in special circumstances to overcome difficulties, continue to develop the economy , improve their lives to escape poverty sustainably, contributing with the Party Committee, government and people to build the town to meet civilized urban standards by 2024.
