Training on operating community communication team in Ta Gia Khau commune

During 2 days (August 10-11), the Provincial Women's Union organized a training course on operation and capacity building for implementing the community communication team model in Ta Gia Khau commune, Muong Khuong district.

Officials of the Provincial Women's Union deployed the contents at the training session.

The training session aims to help members of the community communication team to master the knowledge and skills to maintain and operate the model to propagate and mobilize local people to change their thinking and working methods, contributing to eliminating prejudices and gender stereotypes in families and communities; eliminating harmful cultural practices and participating in solving urgent problems for women and children, and implementing gender equality in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

This activity is part of Project 8 "Implementing gender equality and solving urgent issues for women and children" which has been and is being implemented by women's unions at all levels in Lao Cai province.
