Training in gong playing art for Ma and Stieng ethnic youth

The training course on teaching gong playing art to Ma and Stieng ethnic youth in Ta Lai commune, Tan Phu district in 2025 of Dong Nai Museum is scheduled to take place from July 1 to 4.

There will be artisans and prestigious people of the Ma and Stieng ethnic groups in Tan Phu district and other localities directly teaching the students. The gong songs expected to be taught include: welcoming guests, celebrating new rice, celebrating weddings, praying to the forest god during festivals. The training location is at the Ma ethnic cultural house, Ta Lai commune.

Opening a training class to teach the art of gong playing to young people of the Ma and Stieng ethnic groups aims to preserve and promote the heritage values ​​of ethnic minorities; helping young people perceive the artistic value of gong heritage in today's life.
