The Find My feature on iPhone helps locate your device and protect your data if it is stolen. However, if you do not disable this feature before transferring the device, other people may be blocked when trying to use the device.
Turning off Find My disables Activation Lock, allowing new users to easily set up and use the iPhone. To turn it off, go to Settings, select your Apple ID name, then go to “Find My” and select “Find My iPhone”.
Toggle the switch off, then enter your Apple ID password to confirm the action. Apple recommends that you perform this step before servicing or reselling your device. If left unchecked, your old device may become unusable and your personal information may be leaked.
In addition to turning off Find My, you should also erase all data and restore factory settings to protect your privacy. Readers are invited to watch more videos : Iris scanning tool to verify human identity | VTV24
