( Bqp.vn ) - On the morning of November 8, ship CSB 8004 and the Vietnam Coast Guard delegation left Yeosu port, Yeolla Nam province (South Korea), successfully concluding the visit, exchange and experience sharing in Korea. Major General Han Sang-Chul, Director of the Korean Coast Guard Academy attended the ship's farewell ceremony.

Speaking at the ship farewell ceremony, Colonel Le Thanh Hai, Deputy Commander of Coast Guard Region 1, thanked the Korean Coast Guard for their thoughtful, respectful and warm welcome to the officers and staff of the Vietnam Coast Guard Delegation and ship CSB 8004 during their visit and exchange here. According to Colonel Le Thanh Hai, this visit, exchange and experience exchange with the Korean Coast Guard Academy is of great significance, an activity to concretize the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the two forces signed in 2007. Through the visit, officers and staff of the Vietnam Coast Guard and the Korean Coast Guard have the opportunity to exchange, learn, share, and exchange experiences and practices in law enforcement at sea, contributing to strengthening the friendly relationship, cooperation, understanding and mutual trust between the two forces in the coming time.

During the visit to Korea, the Vietnam Coast Guard delegation and officers and staff of CSB 8004 ship had many meaningful activities, such as: paying a courtesy call to the leaders of the Korean Coast Guard Academy; visiting and exchanging at the Korean Coast Guard Academy; practicing joint search and rescue at sea with the Korean Coast Guard; participating in sports and visiting cultural sites.
