Tay Ninh has 6 more 4-star OCOP products

Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee has just held a meeting to evaluate and classify OCOP products. As a result, Tay Ninh province has 6 more products recognized as 4-star OCOP.

The 6 products evaluated and classified this time include: Platinum melon, Dutch melon, round orange melon of Hoang Xuan Agricultural Products Company Limited (Trang Bang town); wild honey, star flower honey, oil of Bao An Tay Ninh Honey Bee Company Limited, Tay Ninh city and Hong Minh super thin rice paper of Hong Minh rice paper business household (Hoa Thanh town).

According to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Tay Ninh province, the locality is making significant progress in developing OCOP products with 133 products meeting OCOP standards, including 91 3-star products, 41 4-star products and 1 product awaiting national 5-star classification.

6 products were evaluated and ranked this time.

According to the 2025 Plan, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Tay Ninh province sets a target that the province will have 20-30 more products recognized as OCOP products with 3 stars or more, bringing the total number of products to 150 provincial-level OCOP products by 2025, including 3 potential products eligible for 5-star evaluation and classification. At the same time, the province also has solutions to promote the development and expansion of production scale and market for OCOP products with 4 stars or more.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Tran Van Chien, Vice Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee, congratulated the entities whose products were evaluated and recognized by the Council as meeting 4-star OCOP standards. Mr. Chien assigned departments and branches to continue reviewing and creating favorable conditions for OCOP entities to develop and improve product quality.

Regarding the 06 products that have just been recognized as 4-star OCOP products, Vice Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee Tran Van Chien suggested that businesses continue to develop 5-star products, creating opportunities to expand the market and contribute to promoting the local image.
