In October 2024, in Ba Ria-Vung Tau, participating in the PPA Tour Australia - Vietnam Open 2024 pickleball tournament, Ly Hoang Nam revealed that it was the time he started to get acquainted with pickleball to experience and gain more feeling in this sport. Gradually, after that, the 1997-born player affirmed his class, having no opponents in national pickleball tournaments. In just 6 months of trying this sport, he made his mark with 7 championships.
