TEMPEST will perform at the "Rookie of the Year" finals.

The producers of the "Rookie of the Year" show have confirmed that the South Korean boy band TEMPEST will be the special international guest at the grand finale, taking place on December 13th at Tan Binh Gymnasium, Ho Chi Minh City.

TEMPEST will participate in the "Rookie of the Year" Finals.

TEMPEST's participation is considered to have raised the international performance standards for the "Rookie of the Year" stage. The group debuted in 2022 under Yuehua Entertainment and currently consists of six members: Lew (leader), Hanbin (Ngô Ngọc Hưng), Hyeongseop, Hyuk, Eunchan, and Taerae. TEMPEST has made its mark with its high-energy music style, powerful choreography, and diverse genres ranging from K-pop, R&B, Dance, to Hip hop.

The group has received numerous prestigious rookie awards such as: Best Male Rookie (Genie Music Awards 2022), Rookie of the Year (Hanteo Music Awards 2023), IdolPlus New Star Award (Circle Chart Music Awards 2022 & Seoul Music Awards 2022), and more recently, awards specifically for the Vietnamese market such as: Male Idol of the Year (Brand of the Year Awards 2024) and Best Male Idol (Korea First Brand Awards 2025).

TEMPEST has a large fan base in Vietnam, especially with the presence of Vietnamese member Hanbin, promising meaningful interaction moments during the final night.

Prior to TEMPEST, the program had invited many international groups such as 8TURN, JUSTB, ARrC, and FeniX, contributing to creating a professional environment for interaction, helping Vietnamese newcomers to face and learn from high-standard K-Pop and J-Pop groups.
