Named “The Land of Mystery”, the circus show of Phuong Nam Theater is ready to debut this Tet holiday with the highlight being the performance of a giant Stone God, 6m tall.
The story of The Mysterious Land (Scriptwriter: Thuc Tram, Director: NS Quoc Cong) is about a village where everyone believes that supernatural forces can help them have a peaceful life. Then a drought comes, the villagers all hope that the rain-praying ritual "Drum calling the sky" will make God moved and send rain.
The village chief organized a competition to select the strongest, bravest and most courageous person to go find 5 stones symbolizing the Five Elements: Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth to pray for rain for the village.
The two characters Tung and Mon became two people searching for the five stones. After many challenges and dangers, venturing into the mysterious land, Tung and Mon's efforts and attempts were successful when they collected all five stones and returned to the village.
In the presence of all the villagers, the sky drum placed in the middle of the square stood out with 5 precious stones and prayers for rain. And God did not disappoint the villagers when the rain poured down amidst the cheers of the villagers.
