Thailand: 33-year-old DJ brutally murdered after missing for many days

(Dan Tri) - Thai media is abuzz with the news that DJ Tete was just discovered dead in a forest in Thung Na Nang Lok village (Thailand), about 20km from where he went missing.

Police said that when DJ Tete was found, he was lying face down, wearing a T-shirt and dark jeans. His hands were tied behind his back. DJ Tete's body showed signs of decomposition when found.

DJ Tete had been missing for several days before he was found. The last time he was seen by fans was at a birthday party at a bar in Thailand in early May. In the bar's security camera, Tete appeared in a happy mood, showing no signs of anything unusual.

Thai police said that on the afternoon of May 14, DJ Tete drove to his girlfriend's house. He was forced into a white pickup truck by two men, Wikoorn (nickname Koon) and Thanadet (nickname King). The two men were summoned by the police but they firmly denied any involvement in the DJ's death.

Another car driven by a man named Noppijit (nicknamed Luerb) is also under investigation.

Through security cameras, they saw that on the morning of May 14, 2 hours before DJ Tete was kidnapped, Noppijit's car left the house of the two suspects Koon and King. The car was found parked near the area where the kidnapping took place 2 weeks before the incident.

On the morning of May 14, the black car left the location and was abandoned in Photharam district, Ratchaburi province (Thailand). Noppijit explained to the investigating agency that he had left the car at a friend's house because it was broken. The police seized it for inspection and discovered that the car had been washed very clean.

Surveillance camera footage also showed the car entering the forested area where DJ Tete’s body was found. Thai police have deemed DJ Tete’s death a serious homicide and have opened an investigation.

DJ Tete (born 1992) is a famous face in the DJ world in Thailand. He has a large number of followers and fans in his home country. The 33-year-old artist often performs at bars, nightclubs and many entertainment events in Thailand. His passing has shocked many colleagues.
