
Thai Nguyen is forecast to continue to have moderate to very heavy rain, with a risk of flooding in many places, especially in the central area. Some roads such as Luong Ngoc Quyen, Minh Cau, Hoang Van Thu, Hung Vuong, Nha Trang, Ben Tuong... are flooded from 0.5-1m deep, and the flooding may last for the next few hours. Gia Sang, Quan Trieu, Dai Tu, Pho Yen, Song Cong, Yen Binh... areas are also on warning.
According to the Thai Nguyen Province Hydrometeorological Station, the water level of many rivers and streams has exceeded alert level 3, with floods rising rapidly with an amplitude of 2-5m. Floods on the Cau River and other rivers are complicated, with a level 3 natural disaster risk, which can cause widespread flooding in low-lying areas, urban areas and riverside areas, seriously affecting production, traffic and people's lives.
The meteorological agency advised people not to go through tunnels, overflows, deep flooded areas, and fast-flowing water, and to proactively evacuate people and property to safe places. The government and functional forces were asked to closely monitor the situation and deploy response measures. As of this morning, the entire province has allowed students to stay home from school, and many areas have experienced localized power outages.
