In the Appeal Letter sent to agencies, businesses, philanthropists; Red Cross officials, members, and volunteers, the Hanoi Red Cross Society emphasized: Since the end of September, the North has continuously experienced two large-scale heavy rains due to the influence of storm circulation. In particular, due to the influence of storm circulation No. 11, the measured rainfall in some places exceeded 500mm, causing localized flooding and potential risks of floods and landslides. More than ever, people in deeply flooded areas are in dire need of attention, help, and sharing from all levels, sectors, agencies, businesses, and the whole society.

With the spirit of "Mutual love and support" and "The rich help the poor" to join hands to share and support people severely affected by storms and floods, the Hanoi Red Cross Society calls on all Red Cross officials, members, volunteers; units, agencies, businesses, and philanthropists in society to participate in supporting resources such as drinking water, essential medicines, cash... to promptly support people in deeply flooded areas.
