On November 25, Hanoi City informed about support activities for localities affected by natural disasters, especially Gia Lai province - which suffered serious damage after historic floods.

Implementing Conclusion No. 99-TB/TW dated November 21, 2025 of the Politburo and Secretariat on Hanoi directly supporting Gia Lai province to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, the Hanoi Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee quickly took action with a high sense of responsibility and the heart of "Hanoi for the whole country, with the whole country".
Based on the agreement between the two localities, Hanoi City decided to support Gia Lai province with 200 billion VND to build resettlement areas and repair traffic infrastructure damaged by floods and storms. Hanoi City People's Committee was assigned to preside over and coordinate with Gia Lai province to implement the project quickly and effectively, helping people to soon stabilize their lives and restore production.

Previously, Hanoi had provided emergency aid of 50 billion VND to Gia Lai province to provide timely relief to people in flood-hit areas. At the same time, Hanoi also allocated 10 billion VND from the Relief Fund to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, responding to the call for support for people in disaster-hit areas by the Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Bui Thi Minh Hoai.
On the afternoon of November 24, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong presented 30 billion VND in support to three provinces: Dak Lak, Lam Dong and Khanh Hoa, each province receiving 10 billion VND.

Along with the budget resources, the people of the capital also joined hands to organize many donation activities to support people in flood-affected areas. From early morning to late evening, at many goods receiving points in communes, wards and residential areas in Hanoi, hundreds of volunteers worked hard to sort and pack necessities donated by the people.

The donated items are diverse and practical, such as milk, instant noodles, bottled water, dry food, clothes, blankets, medicine, diapers, sanitary napkins, etc., carefully packaged and ready to be sent to the affected areas. Each gift is not only a material sharing, but also a warm sentiment from the Capital to the people of the Central and Central Highlands in difficult times.
