The meeting is scheduled to take place over two days, from December 9 to 10, at the City Hall (111 Ba Huyen Thanh Quan, Xuan Hoa ward).
At the meeting, the People's Council of Ho Chi Minh City will review and evaluate the implementation of socio -economic tasks in 2025; directions and tasks in 2026; review the implementation of the 2025 theme "Focusing on streamlining the apparatus - lean - strong - efficient - effective - efficient; promoting digital transformation; Resolution No. 98/2023/QH15 of the National Assembly; fundamentally resolving the city's difficulties and backlog". Review the results of practicing thrift and fighting waste in 2025; results of resolving voters' recommendations before and after the 2nd session of the People's Council of Ho Chi Minh City, term X. At the same time, review the contents of revenue, expenditure, state budget settlement in 2025 and the budget revenue and expenditure estimates in 2026.
This session is also expected to question the Director of the Department of Food Safety of Ho Chi Minh City on state management of food safety; inspection, examination and handling of administrative violations of food safety in the city in recent times. Question the Director of the Department of Construction of Ho Chi Minh City on the situation and results of implementing key public investment projects; preventing traffic congestion; implementation of social housing development programs and plans and coordination in granting home ownership certificates in apartment buildings in the city.
