As of the afternoon of November 21, National Highway 1A at Van Ninh section, the area south of Ca Pass ( Khanh Hoa province) was still seriously congested, with vehicles stopped in a line for over 20km.

The reason is that the area north of Ca Pass in Dak Lak province is heavily flooded, so vehicles traveling from the South to the area south of Ca Pass (Dak Lak province) have to stop. In addition, landslides are occurring in many areas of Ca Pass, affecting the traffic of vehicles.

In addition, the Van Phong – Nha Trang expressway is currently facing a similar situation as traffic flows back to Deo Ca tunnel. Ninh Hoa Traffic Police Station has coordinated with Dak Lak forces to regulate traffic, set up checkpoints to require some drivers to turn around or stop at Ninh Hoa; and at the same time, organized food supplies for drivers and passengers stuck.

The Traffic Police Department of Khanh Hoa Province has set up a checkpoint on National Highway 1A through Cong Hai Commune to temporarily stop vehicles traveling from the South to the North. Currently, the authorities continue to regulate vehicles and monitor the development of rain and floods to quickly resolve the congestion on National Highway 1A.
