Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Pham Hoang Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council emphasized: Thai Nguyen is not only the political and economic center of the northern midland and mountainous region, but also the cradle of Vietnam's Revolutionary Press, a place that marked milestones in the history of the country's revolutionary press.
It was on this land that the Vietnam Journalists Association was established; Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism School was born - the first school to train the first class of revolutionary journalists, where Nhan Dan Newspaper published its first issue, where the People's Army Newspaper, Literature and Arts Magazine, Cuu Quoc Newspaper, Voice of Vietnam Radio were born and headquartered... In the fire of the resistance war against French colonialism, the voice of the press from Thai Nguyen became the flame that fueled the spirit of patriotism, aroused the desire for independence, freedom and inspired the struggle for millions of Vietnamese hearts.

Over the past 100 years, the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press has always been a pioneering force on the ideological and cultural front, contributing to orienting public opinion, encouraging action, and creating a strong spiritual motivation for the cause of protecting and building the country. That tradition was inspired, nurtured, and spread from historical sites at ATK (Safe Zone) Dinh Hoa, Thai Nguyen .
Today, continuing that heroic flow, Thai Nguyen currently has 3 press agencies operating in multiple forms (print, radio, television, electronic newspapers), along with nearly 30 central press agencies setting up representative offices or sending resident reporters to regularly work in the area. The team of journalists not only reflects the breath of life promptly and accurately, but also actively spreads humanistic values, pioneers in the journey of digital transformation, innovates journalism technology, and keeps up with modern media trends.
Many journalists in Thai Nguyen have made great strides, producing quality journalistic works, winning high awards in prestigious national competitions, contributing to bringing the image of Thai Nguyen's development and innovation closer to the public nationwide.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Pham Hoang Son asked generations of journalists in the area to continue to promote their strong political will, maintain professional ethics, steadfastly pursue revolutionary ideals, study and follow the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh - the great teacher of Vietnam's Revolutionary Journalism.
He emphasized: in the context of strong digital media development, journalists must innovate their working methods, improve their ability to access technology, adapt flexibly, and constantly learn to continue to be worthy of being "shock soldiers on the ideological-cultural front" as Uncle Ho instructed.
On the same day, Thai Nguyen province conducted a review of 10 years of implementing Directive 05-CT/TW. Thereby, it affirmed that studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style has truly gone into depth and spread throughout society. Outstanding groups and individuals have contributed to making Uncle Ho's ideology a guiding principle in action, innovating leadership and working methods, promoting the strength of great solidarity and responsibility to the people.
At the ceremony, Thai Nguyen province awarded certificates of merit to 50 collectives and individual journalists with outstanding achievements in their work; 24 typical collectives and individuals in implementing Directive 05; and at the same time, organized the award ceremony of the Press Contest "Bringing the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress into life".
Not only is it an occasion to review the glorious tradition of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press, the celebration in Thai Nguyen is also an affirmation: Under the light of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, with 100 years of experience, the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press and the team of journalists in Thai Nguyen will continue to pioneer, be creative, and serve the people, for a professional, humane, and modern press, for a developing Vietnam in the new era.
