On the morning of July 15, the Working Group for Appraising Party Congress Documents under the Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 (Working Group No. 2) held a conference to appraise Party Congress documents for the term 2025 - 2030 of 5 communes: Chau Thanh, Hung My, Song Loc, Long Hoa and Hoa Minh.

Comrade Lam Minh Dang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of Working Group No. 2 chaired the conference. Attending the conference were members of Working Group No. 2, leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Standing Party Committees of 5 communes whose documents were appraised.
At the conference, representatives of the communes presented the main contents of the draft documents of the Congress, focusing on the draft political report and draft resolution, highlighting the main development targets and breakthrough tasks in the 2025-2030 term.
Members of Working Group No. 2 made many important comments. Specifically, the political report should clearly state the difficulties, advantages, and characteristics of each locality. The draft resolution should be streamlined, removing small targets and focusing on specific solutions. At the same time, it is necessary to effectively apply the Central Resolution on science, technology, innovation and digital transformation; Resolution on private economic development to build appropriate breakthroughs. Regarding targets, communes are required to closely follow the general targets of the province, in which production value must achieve double-digit growth or higher.
Particularly for the two island communes of Long Hoa and Hoa Minh, it is necessary to make the most of the available potential, develop the shrimp-rice model and high-tech shrimp farming. Promote Con Chim eco-tourism, expand and improve the quality of the model associated with OCOP products; at the same time, connect with common tourism routes to effectively exploit local advantages...

In his concluding remarks, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Lam Minh Dang requested the Standing Committee of the Party Committees of the communes to absorb the opinions of the Working Group, adjust and supplement the documents, review the congress theme, evaluate the results of the term closely with the context and assessment of the provincial documents, clarify the limitations, causes and draw lessons to determine the direction for the term 2025 - 2030.
Comrade Lam Minh Dang emphasized that the document needs to fully demonstrate 10 groups of key tasks and solutions in the fields of economy, culture - society, national defense - security, Party building, digital transformation, environment, etc.
Immediately after the model congress in Long Ho commune on August 7 and 8, the province will organize a conference to review experiences and direct the congresses of communes. Localities need to do a good job of ideological work, grasp the situation of cadres, party members, and people, and carefully, economically, and effectively prepare conditions for organizing the congresses, aiming for the success of the Party Congresses at commune and provincial levels and the 14th National Congress of the Party.
