BIDV listed the interest rate at 1.9%/year (at the counter) and 2.3%/year (online). The highest is Agribank with 2.4%/year (at the counter) and 3%/year (online).
In general, the group of state-owned commercial banks is currently the group that offers the lowest savings interest rates on the market. For terms of 1-3 months, deposit interest rates in both counter and online forms at banks in this group are 1% - 2% lower than all other joint stock commercial banks.
The highest 6-month savings interest rate is 5.3%/year applied to deposits at Vikki Digital Bank and VCBNeo; second is Bac A Bank with 5.25%/year. Closely followed by the interest rate of 5.2%/year applied at two banks ABBank and HDBank. With a 12-month term, the highest savings interest rate at the counter is 5.7%/year listed at HDBank. Following are Vikki Digital Bank with 5.65%/year and Timo by BVBank with 5.55%/year. Meanwhile, Bac A Bank and HDBank recorded the highest online deposit interest rate at 6.1%/year.
For the 24-month term, the highest bank interest rate is Bac A Bank with 6%/year (online) while Timo by BVBank and Vikki Digital Bank are leading with the highest savings interest rate at the counter of 5.9%/year. Bac A Bank and Vietbank continue to maintain the high level of 5.8%/year (at the counter). Except for the group of banks in the Big4 group with ACB and Techcombank, other commercial banks all have 24-month term interest rates above 5%.
At the counter, three banks in the Big 4 group, VietinBank, BIDV and Agribank, listed interest rates at 4.8%/year. Meanwhile, the listed interest rate at Vietcombank was recorded at 4.7%/year.
In the online form, three banks BIDV, VietinBank and Vietcombank listed interest rates at 4.9%/year, 4.8%/year and 4.7%/year respectively.
