The Public Administration Center under the People's Committee of Thang An Commune ( Da Nang City) is headquartered in Nam Ha village and performs the function of receiving, guiding, resolving and returning administrative procedure results to organizations and individuals according to the "one-stop" and "one-stop" mechanisms. According to records, in the first two days of July, officers and civil servants of Thang An Commune Public Administration Center were in neat uniforms, always ready to welcome citizens.
The center ensures the listing of administrative procedures according to the new set of administrative procedures of Da Nang City; integrates the set of administrative procedures with QR codes for the convenience of the people; receives documents and resolves administrative procedures for citizens both directly and online to ensure smoothness according to the people's needs. At the same time, the center receives documents on the electronic one-stop software and the National Public Service Portal, connecting with agencies and units to resolve for citizens.
On the afternoon of July 2, Mr. Nguyen Van Thi (Lac Cau village, Thang An commune) went to the Thang An commune public administration center to certify the birth certificate, citizen identification card and carry out some other administrative procedures for his child. Mr. Thi was very pleased when he quickly received the results, and said that when he arrived at the center, he was enthusiastically guided by the consultant to the document reception counter, after which the documents were processed very quickly. "I feel very secure when the administrative procedures are processed at the commune" - Mr. Thi said.
Mr. Dang Van Hung - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thang An Commune and in charge of the Public Administration Center said that from the morning of July 1 to noon of July 2, the unit received, guided, and resolved 101 administrative procedures. Of which, the land sector had 57 cases (20 guided, 37 received); 40 cases in the judicial sector (20 guided, 8 received, 12 authenticated); 3 cases in the cultural - social sector were all guided; 1 case was guided in the construction and industry and trade sectors.
According to Mr. Hung, the handling of administrative procedures for people is quite smooth and he hopes that people will become more familiar with handling documents online. "We will equip more automatic number machines, electronic information boards, and upgrade high-speed internet connections to better serve and improve people's lives," said Mr. Hung.
Continue economic restructuring
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong - Chairman of Thang An Commune People's Committee informed that the estimated total value of economic sectors in Thang An in 2025 will reach 2,357.2 billion VND (2010 comparative price). The average growth rate in the period of 2020 - 2025 will reach 11.06%/year. The economic structure will shift towards strong development of trade and service sectors. Specifically, trade and service sectors account for 43%; industry and construction sectors account for 29.3%; agriculture, forestry and fishery sectors account for 27.7%. The average income per capita in the commune in 2025 is estimated to reach 64.87 million VND/person/year.

With Vo Chi Cong Street passing through and a fairly complete traffic system invested in, Thang An commune has a boost to rapidly develop trade and services. Vinpearl Nam Hoi An, Bliss Nam Hoi An, Hoiana tourist areas promote sightseeing, resort, shopping, entertainment, and exploration activities of tourists. That is also a favorable condition for the development of restaurant, food, and accommodation services. In addition, traditional markets, mini supermarkets, grocery stores, etc. meet the shopping needs of people and tourists.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong said that Thang An commune is mobilizing resources to create momentum for rapid and sustainable economic development. Accordingly, in addition to services, local tourism will focus on investing in and developing markets, shopping centers, bus stations, and rest stops; building seafood brands according to the traditional craft village model associated with community tourism and connecting seafood brands with the OCOP program.
“We call for and invest in tourism infrastructure, creating conditions for organizations and individuals to participate in developing eco-tourism, community tourism, and investing in high-quality coastal resorts. The commune re-plans existing beaches to promote tourism activities and services in a sustainable manner,” said Mr. Phong.
