Thailand U23 players celebrate scoring a goal against Myanmar.

Despite being underestimated, U23 Myanmar unexpectedly entered the game proactively with exciting attacks.

In the 14th minute, Khun Kyaw Zin Hein had a good chance to score but his diagonal shot missed the target.

On the opposite side, U23 Thailand entered the game quite slowly and mainly held the ball on their home field.

But the blue team proved to be very dangerous in quick counter-attack situations.

In the 21st minute, receiving the ball while being closely marked, Phodchara still managed to turn around and then shoot a tricky low shot into the Myanmar net, opening the score for U23 Thailand.

In the 32nd minute, stealing the ball from his opponent's feet, Chukid immediately performed a technical shot that defeated goalkeeper Pyae Phyo Thu, raising the score to 2-0.

In the second half, U23 Myanmar started to push up their formation to play pressing right on the opponent's field.

In the opposite direction, U23 Thailand also proactively played low and waited for the opportunity to counterattack.

In the 67th minute, from a quick counter-attack, U23 Thailand almost scored the third goal after Phodchara's shot, but luckily goalkeeper Pyae Phyo Thu played with concentration.

In the remaining time, U23 Myanmar tried to raise the attacking formation to find an equalizer.

However, the red shirt strikers were helpless against the tight defense of U23 Thailand.

Even while struggling to find an equalizer, U23 Myanmar had to pick the ball out of the net once more.

In the 88th minute, U23 Thailand was awarded a penalty when a Myanmar player let the ball touch his hand in the penalty area.

On the 11m mark, Burapha made no mistake to increase the score to 3-0.

Despite a 3-0 victory over Myanmar, U23 Thailand still ranked 2nd in Group A, behind Cambodia, due to a lower goal difference.
