Real Madrid won 1-0 against Juventus
Facing Juventus in the round of 16, Real Madrid is rated higher. Coach Alonso continues to be without the service of striker Mbappe due to injury, however other stars such as Bellingham, Vinicius and Valverde all started.
Juventus started better and dominated the game. In the 8th minute, Kolo Muani had a good chance when he broke away from goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois from a quick counter-attack in his own half.

However, in a favorable position, the French star made a lob that went over the crossbar. The match was tense, with both teams constantly attacking in search of a goal.
In the 30th minute, Jude Bellingham received the ball in a favorable position in the penalty area, but his shot went straight into the middle of the goal and was easily blocked by goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio.

The highlight of the match came in the 54th minute, from a classy cross by Trent Alexander-Arnold, young striker Gonzalo Garcia ran smartly and headed the ball from 5m into the middle of the goal, leaving goalkeeper Di Gregorio helpless, opening the score 1-0 for Real Madrid.

This was Gonzalo Garcia's third goal at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup and he played an excellent role as a substitute for Mbappe. After conceding the goal, Juventus were forced to push up their squad to find an equalizer while Real Madrid retreated to defend.
Francisco Conceicao had a close-range shot in the 56th minute, but goalkeeper Courtois saved for Real Madrid. Juventus goalkeeper Di Gregorio continued his excellent performance when he blocked Valverde's bicycle kick in the 61st minute and Arda Guler's shot outside the box in the 72nd minute.
The Spanish side played slowly and secured a 1-0 aggregate victory after 90 minutes. Real Madrid advanced to the quarter-finals of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup and will face the winner of the Dortmund-Monterrey match in the quarter-finals.
