On the afternoon of July 24, comrade Le Thi Kim Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and the delegation of the Provincial People's Council had a meeting with voters of Yen Phu commune after the first session of the 19th Provincial People's Council; visited and presented gifts to war invalids and policy families of Yen Phu commune on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025).

Voters of Yen Phu commune highly appreciated the sense of responsibility of the provincial People's Council delegates, and at the same time proposed many practical contents related to people's lives and infrastructure development. Opinions focused on issues such as: Investing in and upgrading traffic routes in the commune; improving the drainage system; handling landslides and subsidence of National Highway 2; investing in power lines in some areas; planning cemeteries for villages; investing in upgrading facilities and offices after the merger; proposing residential area planning...

In addition, many voters reported landslides of people's cultivated land due to hydropower; environmental pollution at landfills; difficulties in building concrete roads in model new rural villages; proposed support policies for people in areas affected by mineral exploitation...

Leaders of departments, branches, sectors and Yen Phu Commune People's Committee responded to clarify some opinions of voters directly at the conference.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Le Thi Kim Dung emphasized: The opinions and recommendations of voters are very specific, close to reality, demonstrating the responsibility of the people for the development of the locality, the consensus with the two-level local government. She also acknowledged the efforts of the Party Committee and the government of Yen Phu commune in arranging the apparatus to operate effectively and smoothly. She requested that relevant departments and branches promptly handle the opinions and recommendations of the people. The delegation of the Provincial People's Council seriously received, fully synthesized and will forward them to the competent authorities for consideration and resolution according to their authority, and at the same time supervise the implementation.

He suggested that the Party Committee and the government of Yen Phu commune continue to play a proactive role in grasping the thoughts and aspirations of the people after the administrative unit merger; promote administrative reform, improve the quality of service to the people; carry out planning work well, focus on building infrastructure systems, especially transportation systems, irrigation, schools, and medical stations to meet new development requirements. He hoped that the people of all ethnic groups in Yen Phu commune need to have consensus with the local government to build and develop their homeland.

He also requested Yen Phu commune to actively prepare documents for the Party Congress of the commune for the 2025-2030 term on schedule, with quality, and to perfect the organization to ensure good conditions for organizing the Party Congress of the commune for the 2025-2030 term.
