Da Nang: Building resolutions related to the field of education and training must be suitable to the new situation.

According to the report of the Department of Education and Training, after the merger, resolutions related to the field of education and training must be adjusted to create consistency.

Based on the resolutions issued by Da Nang city (old) and Quang Nam province (old), the staff department drafted a new resolution to replace them.

Specifically: the draft Resolution of the City People's Council stipulates support policies for preschool children, pupils and students who are ethnic minorities; pupils and students with disabilities and the level of financial support for cooking services for schools that organize cooking for preschool children and students in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the city. It is expected to support lunch money for preschool children who are ethnic minorities with permanent residence in Da Nang city at 360,000 VND/child/month, not exceeding 9 months/school year.

High school students who are ethnic minorities or people with disabilities and have registered permanent residence in Da Nang city are supported with 936,000 VND/student/school year for meals; 120,000 VND/student/school year for study expenses...

The draft Resolution of the City People's Council regulating tuition fees for public educational institutions from the 2025-2026 school year in Da Nang city is expected to stipulate the tuition fees for preschool education: 95,000 VND/student/month for wards and 50,000 VND/student/month for communes.

Tuition fees for primary school are 95,000 VND/student/month for wards and 50,000 VND/student/month for communes; secondary school is 60,000 VND/student/month for wards and 50,000 VND/student/month for communes; high school is 100,000 VND/student/month for wards and 100,000 VND/student/month for communes.

The draft Resolution of the City People's Council stipulates that service fees to serve and support educational activities for public educational institutions in the city will be based on the socio-economic conditions of each region, area, commune and ward.

Concluding the working session, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan requested the Department of Education and Training to coordinate with departments and branches to review draft resolutions related to the field of education and training, focusing on the scope of regulation, applicable subjects, support policies, and legality of the resolution; at the same time, organize to collect opinions on the draft in accordance with regulations.

The resolutions built must be suitable for the new situation and harmonious for students across the city.
